Events, events and more events – it’s only the beginning of March, but the first two months of 2019 have already been jampacked full of excitement for the Katch International team. A pivotal part of Katch’s ever-expanding skill set is our ability to implement a 360-degree strategy to ensure our clients’ events reach their full potential and exceed expectations.

Everyone here at Katch mission control is busy in preparation for a host of exciting events over the coming months, including Tom Odell at The Rotunda in Caesar’s Palace and WASLA 2019 at Burj Park on April 5th, as well as a variety of events with Dubai World Trade Centre, such as World Art Dubai 2019Careers UAE 2019Dubai International Horse Fair 2019, and Future Blockchain Summit.

Here’s a quick look back at some of the many memorable events that Katch has proudly been involved in so far this year:

George Ezra

Katch worked closely with Live Nation across our PRDigitalDesign and Social Media departments, playing a key role in generating massive buzz and boosting ticket sales throughout the region for George Ezra’s sell-out show at Dubai World Trade Centre on January 22, 2019.

BRIDE Dubai 2019

BRIDE Dubai 2019, the Middle East’s premier wedding and lifestyle event, appointed Katch to unleash our unique brand of PR magic in the lead-up to and during this year’s instalment of the showcase. We worked closely with the BRIDE team to secure a large media presence and attract huge crowds of the most discerning brides-to-be and lifestyle savvy women to the four-day event.

Rove Around Tours powered by Nikon

Following a triumphant first edition back in November 2018, the Katch PR and Social Media departments hosted another successful series of Rove Around Tours powered by Nikon, in February. The fun, interactive and enlightening photo-walk tours, the result of a collaboration between Rove Hotels and Nikon, were led by esteemed Emirati photographer and local heritage expert Dr. Ahmad Al Rais. There will be two more installments of the popular tours later this year, so budding photographers should definitely watch this space.

Launch of Crazy Land at BASE

We continued our prolific relationship with BASE, Dubai’s homegrown superclub, through the launch of its exhilarating new Saturday night concept – Crazy Land powered by CANDYPANTS. Our team certainly lived up to the event’s name and went crazy with our creative sides during the activation, gaining significant media attention and making a genuine impact on the city’s social scene. Crazy Land’s reputation has gone from strength to strength since that unforgettable launch night in January, and Katch is proud to have formed a winning partnership with BASE.
