With the help of Team Katch, global superstars BTS broke the internet earlier today with the announcement that they will be performing at King Fahd International Stadium for their first Saudi Arabia show ever, on Friday, October 11th, as part of the Riyadh Season.
Katch is handling the PR, Social Media, and Digital Marketing responsibilities for the K-Pop icons’ highly anticipated show, which is the latest date to be added to their record-breaking BTS WORLD TOUR ‘LOVE YOURSELF: SPEAK YOURSELF’. The tour has already earned the accolade of being the top-grossing tour for May, amassing over $50 million in that month alone, cementing BTS’ position as the biggest pop act on the planet.
BTS kicked off its monumental stadium run on May 4th at the Rose Bowl Stadium in Los Angeles, followed by stops at Soldier Field in Chicago, MetLife Stadium in New Jersey, Allianz Parque in Sao Paulo, Wembley Stadium in London, and Stade de France in Paris. The tour also stopped in Japan this month, hitting Yanmar Stadium Nagai in Osaka and Shizuoka Stadium Ecopa in Shizuoka.
The international phenomenons recently made history as the first Korean act to present at the GRAMMY Awards, as well as scoring three #1 albums on the Billboard 200. On top of embarking on a sold-out stadium tour, BTS also landed on the TIME 100 list of ‘Most Influential People of 2019’, and had the highest-grossing concert film of all time with Burn the Stage: the Movie.
